The Lord continues to fulfil His promise to protect Jacob wherever he went, even when pursued by Laban. Both the immediate concerns of Jacob and his family are examined as well as the greater battle concerning the Jehovah's covenantal faithfulness to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
